Just for the record: We know this is NOT the end of the line for Mercedes-McLaren's SLR platform (see HERE, HERE, and HERE for evidence to support these claims).
That said, the MotorAuthority site (among others) has posted news of the last US-bound Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren roadster being auctioned off to benefit the St. Jude Children's Hospital.
