While not quite as wild as the RENN's April Fool's Smart 7.22 Spec.R, RENNTECH's new ECU upgrade for Smart Fortwo does bump the stock Smart's output to 74 hp - sharpening the car's throttle response and noticeably improving shifting. Top speed limiter is reset to 200 km/h (124 mph).
