sub5zero finds religion

LOVE IS A WHITE BOX FESTOONED WITH MARTINI LOGOS

That I love Lancias and galloping elephants is well-documented in the pages.

Less well-documented, however, are the histories of Lancia's fabulous HF cars. A criminal oversight that my friend Ari Cox (from Sub5Zero) is working to rectify, beginning with the ultimate off-road overdog: Lancia's Delta HF Integrale (1978-1993).

CLICK HERE for a great read ... even if you are a Godless Nazi not a dyed-in-the-wool Lancia fanatic.

Enjoy!

lord vader, your wonky british sportscar is ready

Several years ago, GM ran a series of ads for its then-new Chevy Caprice Impala that read "Lord Vader, your car is ready." The all-black Impala certainly looked the part, and the ad was catchy enough that a whole generation of Star Wars and Chevy fanboys latched on to the idea, asking each other (on a fairly regular basis) "what would Vader drive"?

It's sort of the "Godwin's Law" of automotive forums, and the guys at Kinod Photography seem to finally have an answer: Darth Vader would drive an Ariel Atom.

Not my cup of tea, but neither is Star Wars. Original Chevy ad below.
